                                                                            What Is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is the second largest and fastest growing healing profession in the world. Chiropractic is a natural, non-invasive method of health care that looks at the body as a whole rather than the individual parts.

Chiropractic is the science, philosophy and art that recognizes the relationship between the nervous system and function (health) of the body. Many health disorders can be caused by a disrupted nerve supply. When nerve flow is interrupted, the body becomes unable to maintain itself in an optimal state of health.

Chiropractors detect and correct these spinal dysfunction's that cause nerve disruption (called subluxation) with spinal adjustments, improving the health of the spine and function of the nervous system.

Regular spinal check-ups keep your body in optimal health and prevent long term spinal malfunction.

                                                                   Common Misconceptions

Chiropractic Treatment Never Ends
Chiropractic is like dentistry, more specifically Orthodontics. A person does not need a Chiropractor any more than they need a dentist. If your spine is anatomically correct, freely moving and you observe the proper biomechanics of daily living you do not need to see a Chiropractor for anything other than a "Tune Up." The equivalent of a "Tooth Cleaning." Any Chiropractor that promotes continued treatment is or should be explaining that he or she is referring to "prevention."

Chiropractors are not real doctors
What is a doctor? The very word "doctor" is from the Latin language meaning to teach. Ph.D. is doctor of Philosophy and JD is doctorate in Jurisprudence, D.V.M is doctorate in Veterinarian Medicine. The D.C. degree is a doctorate degree in Chiropractic. D.D.S is a doctorate in Dentistry. Chiropractors are real doctors, not in medicine, but chiropractic.
